FODMAP Diet
FODMAPs are a term used to describe a group of sugars that are poorly digested in some individuals. A low FODMAP diet may assist in managing symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols.
Scientists have tested a large amount of foods to determine what foods have FODMAPs in them. A low FODMAP diet is suitable for individuals with irritable bowel syndrome and other bowel issues.
