Telehealth Consultations

Simple and Easy Nutrition also offers Online consultations for those who live overseas, out of Brisbane or pushed for time.

We use Coviu (Allied Health Telehealth Program) which is a secure interface that ensures privacy of the consult based on Government Guidelines. This cannot be achieved through interfaces like Skype or Facetime. For more information, see here: https://pr.coviu.com/coviu-support-for-patients.  

This allows you to have the same quality dietetic consult from your location. The only difference is that you do not have the ability to be weighed, have your height taken or waist/hip circumference measured. 

How does it work?

Click the link prior to our appointment and set up your photo (which is required for security purposes (this makes sure that it's you!)) and your name. Then you'll be placed in the 'waiting room'. At our appointment I'll take you out of the waiting room and our appointment will start. 

​I can share my screen if needed to show you handouts and all relevant information will be emailed to you after the session. Payment can be taken from reading out card details and we will process it through our EFTPOS system or you can make payment through Stripe through the Coviu interface. I will then issue a receipt, which you can take to your health fund if available. 

What is the cost of the consult? 

Online consults incur the same fee as face-to-face consults. Please refer to the fees and charges page. Billing will be completed at the conclusion of the consult over the phone (EFTPOS) or bank transfer. Details will be emailed to you. Please note:

• Medicare/DVA: Due to the current COVID-19 Benefits, you can claim with Medicare or DVA for phone or telehealth.
• ​Private Health: You will need to check with your provider before your consult.
